The Heat Game

We celebrated New Year's Eve at the Abbotsford Heat game with Ethan and Jonas.  Ethan was excited to wear his newly signed Heat jersey.  We had a lot of fun cheering on the team and enjoying our front row seats!  Unfortunately, the Heat were beat by Texas, 0-3.

Christmas Day Toys

 After Christmas, Ethan had lego sets and arts and crafts to put together and do.  He had a lot to keep him busy, but loved seeing them complete.  The first set he put together was a race car set.  He was so excited about the trophy and put that together first.

He also worked hard on a Buzz Light Year clay project and finished it with just a little help.

Grouse Mountain at Christmas

We went up to Grouse Mountain with our friends the Cunninghams after Christmas.  Ethan couldn't help but start sliding down the banks, even without a toboggan.  We had fun on the sleigh ride and enjoying the snow.  It was a beautiful day!

Bath Time

Recently, Jonas and Ethan have started to bath together, so I couldn't resist taking a few pictures.

They have also started to play together, wrestling and tickling each other is the favoured activity.

It is fun to watch them become 'best brothers'!

Christmas Day

We celebrated Christmas day this year at home and with Reuben's family.  Ethan and Jonas both enjoyed opening presents and playing with their new toys.  But we especially enjoyed waffles at the Grandpa Loland's and spending time with our family.

Safari Kids Zone

We met up with friends from our old playgroup, started the year I was on maternity leave with Ethan.  We don't get together much anymore as we all have other children now and are no longer on maternity leave, but every once in awhile we make efforts to connect.  This time we met up at the Safari Kids Zone in Abbotsford for some playtime.

Christmas Dinner with the Friesens

We celebrated Christmas with our annual dinner at the Friessens, complete with carols and Christmas hats.  The photo by the tree had more bodies in it this year as three new additions were added to the family.  We sure missed Colleen, but were thankful that we could still be together and celebrate as a family. 

Breakfast with Santa

Instead of lining up at the mall for pictures with Santa, this year we registered for Breakfast with Santa at AEP.  Granted the backdrop wasn't as beautiful, but the line wasn't as long either.  Ethan enjoyed the bouncy castle and crafts, but when Hawkey showed up (Abbotsford Heat's mascot), it became the best day ever.  Hawkey posed for pictures with the boys and even joined Ethan for a bounce in the bouncy castle.
