Transformers

Ethan and Reuben after transforming Superion, a new transformer, for the first time!

Ethan really enjoys playing with transformers. He has more than I can keep track of (and definitely more than he wants to clean up), thanks to his dad's shared interest! The video is of Ethan sharing a little about his favourite transformers.

Jonas at 2 Months

Harlem Globe Trotters

We took Ethan to see the Harlem Globe Trotters at ASEC thinking that he would love it and really think the show and players were cool, but he was really unemotional about it. I guess basketball just isn't his thing?!! I on the other hand thought it was hilarious and had a great time. One of my students was even pulled up on stage to try and shoot a few hoops.

Ethan's Field Trip to the Fish Hatchery

Ethan went on a school field trip to the fish hatchery. It was a really neat field trip with lots of hands on learning about the fish life cycle and the environment they live in. He really enjoyed it, so much so that he has decided he wants to have a fishing birthday party this year!

Jonas and His Midwife

I have felt very lucky to have such great care for Jonas since his birth. Shannon and Heather are the midwives that took care of Jonas and I throughout my pregnancy, Jonas' birth and Jonas' first few months. Heather delivered Jonas and Shannon visited us at our home three times before we finally started to bring Jonas into the office. I was sad to have to say goodbye to both of them this week at our last appointment before returning to our family doctor. Thank you to both of them for their wonderful support and care.

Jonas Finds His Toys

Another exciting milestone was reached today. Jonas figured out how to hit at the toys dangling above his head and watched in amazement as they swayed above him. Too cute! Here is a video and a few pictures of the occasion.

Auntie Andrea

Ethan loves Andrea so much. He was so excited this year whenever she would come home for a break from school at UVic. He really missed her while she was gone. Here are a few pictures of a recent reunion and evidence of why she is one of his favourite people! Welcome home, Andrea!
